DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Title: "SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD"
Scripture: “But seek ye first the kingdom m of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33
Devotional:
In our today’s world, we see men pursuing after things and trying to meet up with the demands that come with it, it could be their job, business, finances, relationships etc. which is not bad. Have got some question for you. Do you have a relationship with Jesus? Are you seeking after the Kingdom of God? These are pertinent questions you should ask yourself and be able to answer.
The truth is there are guidelines and principles we need to follow in life and become successful. Matthew 6: 31-33 states “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or, wherewithal shall we be clothed? (for after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.” From the scripture above, we can see that we need not to worry about anything, because provision has been made. In order to fully access the provision you have to seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness first, that should be your priority, if this is done then every other things will be added. God knows what your needs are and he is well able to meet you at the point of your needs.
Going forward, instead of you to start worrying or keep lamenting over issues or unmet need. Just follow what Matthew 6:33 says and all will be well.
Shalom!
Prayer:
Dear Father, thank you for your for your saving grace and power. Thank you for providing all of my needs according to your riches in glory. Help me lord to Continually seek after your kingdom and righteousness. Help me to live a holy life in Jesus name, Amen!
